deluge-common software package provides bittorrent client written in Python/PyGTK (common files), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install deluge-common
deluge-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the deluge-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep deluge-common *
You will get with deluge-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
